As you travel through scenic mountain routes, holy rivers, and ancient temples, you’ll experience a divine connection with nature and spirituality. The journey takes you to Yamunotri (source of the Yamuna River), Gangotri (origin of the Ganges), Kedarnath (one of the 12 Jyotirlingas), and Badrinath (dedicated to Lord Vishnu), making it one of the most significant pilgrimages in India.
With comfortable hotel and guesthouse stays, delicious meals, and well-planned travel routes, this moderate-level journey is ideal for devotees and spiritual seekers. The best time to embark on this yatra is between May and November, ensuring a peaceful and fulfilling experience.
Begin your Chardham Yatra from Haridwar. Arrive at Haridwar Railway Station, where our representative will guide you on the road trip to Barkot via Mussoorie. Guests can stop by at Kempty Falls for a dip. Then, the journey resumes and after a few hours, you will reach Barkot and be escorted to the hotel.

Leave early in the morning for the drive to Phoolchatti/Jankichatti from where the trek covering 6 km will commence. The same stretch can be covered by walking, horse, or doli. The emerald valley dotted with conifers, cacti, and rhododendrons will cheer you up along the way.
Pilgrims often visit the Surya Kund, the hot springs, before going to the temple. They carry rice in a white cloth that gets cooked when dipped in the kund and take it home as Prasad. Besides, pilgrims take a bath in the Jamnabai Kund and go to worship at Divya Shilla. Seek blessings of the holy Yamunaji. Later return to Jankichatti and then Barkot. Overnight stay in Barkot.
On this day, you will be heading out to the next destination, Uttarkashi. On arrival, pay homage to Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple. After that, make your way to the hotel and relax. Night stay in Uttarkashi.
Begin the journey of day 4 by driving down to Gangotri. On the way, take a holy dip in Garam Kund at Gangnani. After that proceed to the temple, the next pilgrimage site on the Chota Char Dham route.
Further, even though the sacred temple is the town's main highlight, there are places to visit nearby, like the Kedar Ganga Sangam and Submerged Shivling. Later, proceed to Uttarkashi for a night's stay.
As the sun rises, you will be driving straight to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgaon. On the way, you can capture the scenic view of the Mandakini River at Tilwara. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and unwind. Later in the evening, visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Once your medical check-up is done, you will proceed to Sonprayag. The trek from Sonprayag to Kedarnath is 19 km, which can be covered by pony or palki. It is advised that guests carry medicines, toiletries, and warm woolen clothes for the overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Pay your respects at the Kedarnath Temple. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Get up early in the morning and take a bath, as you will be going to Kedarnath Temple for the Abhishek pooja. All the pilgrims can enter the Garbha Griha, bow your head in front of the idol, and pay your obeisance.
Then, post the darshan, trek your way down to Sonprayag. From there, you will be escorted to Guptkashi. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
On day 8, you will be going to Badrinath, the last Dham on the Chota Char Dham Yatra. The popular shrine is set at an elevation of 3,133 m and takes shelter between the Nar and Narayan mountains.
Before entering the temple, pilgrims take a bath in the hot water springs of the Tapt Kund, on the banks of the Alaknanda River. Other sacred places surround the temple, including Sheshnetra Ashram and Brahma Kapal. Also, get blessings from the mother of Sri Badrinath at Mata Murti Temple. Bhim Pul, Vasundhara Waterfall, and Vyas Gufa are other popular places to visit here. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early in the morning, proceed to Tapt Kund to take a bath. After that, make your way for darshan at the Badrinath Dham. Also known as Badri Vishal, this shrine is one of the five forms of Lord Vishnu.
After spending some time at the temple, drive back to Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar by Joshimath. Upon your arrival, complete the check-in formalities to stay here for the night.
